Academic Coaching

Academic coaching is available and free to all K-State students. From developing strategies to conquer a difficult class to maximizing personal strengths, academic coaches can meet via Zoom to equip and empower students to succeed. Request a coach any time throughout the year.

K-State Libraries

Library services are available free of cost to all students. Quick fact: a complete renovation of the 550,000-square-foot building was completed in 2021 after a devastating fire that destroyed our beloved library in May 2018. Stop by sometime if you're local or check out their website for pictures of the new space. #HomeSweetHale

Graduate Student Resources

The Academic Achievement Center offers graduate student resources specifically designed with the graduate student in mind. Tip: the backward mapping plan just might be the simplest, yet helpful, tool you've encountered to date.

Just. Keep. Writing.

Need help on a paper? Make an appointment to learn writing strategies and get feedback through online consultations with experienced writing tutors. Remember: "I" before "E," except after "C." They're at the coffee shop over there to get their caffeine fix. A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y. There's no "I" in team. Keep your eye on the ball, slugger. Wait...what were we talking about?

Are You My Mentor?

K-State offers networking and mentoring opportunities with professionals in your field through WildcatLink. Students can browse the public profiles of professionals and reach out for career-related support and advice. The formal mentoring program may be a good fit for students who wish to meet with a professional on a regular basis and have more individualized support. WildcatLink: Connecting K-State students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends beyond the classroom.

Powercat Financial

Powercat Financial offers free, confidential financial counseling for K-State students. Schedule an appointment and meet online with a trained financial counselor who can provide information about budgeting, student loan planning and repayment, saving, identity theft and more.

IT Help

Did you try restarting it? The IT Service Desk is the first point of contact for all your IT needs, including during the evening and on the weekend.
