Apply for Graduation

Yes, you actually have to apply to graduate. Seems odd, but universities require students to apply to get in and apply to get out. So if you're in your last semester, be sure to apply for graduation. Doing so by March 1 will ensure your name is included in the printed commencement program. Undergraduate students: direct any questions about graduation to your academic advisor. Graduate students: view the deadlines for graduation and ETDR submission checklists and contact the K-State Graduate School at 785-532-6191 or grad@k-state.edu with any questions.

Last Day for 100% Refund

Feb. 6 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full semester) class for a 100% refund. Just to make things interesting, non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates and follow these deadlines. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

24/7 Support Program

K-State has partnered with Lifeworks My Student Support Program (Lifeworks My SSP) to offer free mental health and well-being support for all K-State students. Access includes 24/7 real-time, confidential mental health support services for everything from immediate crisis to everyday concerns and more. Watch the My SSP app tutorial video and check out the My SSP app today.

Special Assistance

The Student Access Center is committed to providing equal access and opportunity for students with disabilities. Arrange for the academic accommodations and support you may need during your course.

Free T-Shirt for Participation

If you have been a K-State Online student for a year or more, please consider participating in a student panel as part of the K-State Online Course Design Institute. The panel provides an opportunity for instructors to hear firsthand from our students about what works in an online course environment. This live Zoom session is scheduled for 10-11 a.m. Central time on Tuesday, February 14. The deadline to sign up is February 3. Selected participants will receive a free K-State t-shirt!

Organize your Inbox

Trying to track down an important email lost in your inbox? Channel your inner Marie Kondo and create a filing system. Tip: right click 'inbox' and create a folder. Ideas include important offices such as financial aid, each class on your schedule, and your academic advisor or major professor. This simple filing system will help keep your inbox more manageable and your virtual life a little less stressful.

10 second rewind

Remember to view refund/drop dates for each class on your schedule. The Academic Achievement Center provides online tutoring via Zoom. Check out tools to connect your major to a career. As a K-State student, you have access to free software.
