March 1 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full-semester) class without a W (aka withdrawal) being recorded on your transcript. Non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates and follow these deadlines. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.
The Staley School of Leadership Studies invites students and staff to attend the Feb. 25 What Matters to Me and Why presentation. Dr. Debra Bolton, director, Intercultural Learning and Academic Success, will present "Life-Long Learning to Find Common Ground" from noon to 1 p.m. RSVP by Feb. 24 for the Zoom link.
Library services are available free of cost to all students. If you're a new student, you may not have heard about a devastating fire that destroyed our beloved library in May 2018. Floors one through four of the newly renovated Hale Library are back in action. K-State offers networking and mentoring opportunities with professionals in your field through WildcatLink. Students can browse the public profiles of professionals and reach out for career-related support and advice. The formal mentoring program may be a good fit for students who wish to meet with a professional on a regular basis and have more individualized support. WildcatLink: Connecting K-State students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends beyond the classroom.
