K-State Libraries Hale 1st Floor

Library services are available free of cost to all students. If you're a new student, you may not have heard about a devastating fire that destroyed our beloved library in May 2018. The first floor of the newly renovated Hale Library is back in action, with the second floor opening this spring. Stop by sometime if you're local or check out their blog for reno progress and pictures of the new space. #HomeSweetHale

Last Day for 100 percent Refund

Feb. 10 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full semester) class for a 100% refund. Just to make things interesting, non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates and follow these deadlines. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Financial Tip

If you haven't jumped on the meal prep bandwagon, here's some food for thought (no pun intended). There are a number of benefits to meal prep, including saving money.

Organize Your Inbox

Trying to track down an important email lost in your inbox? Channel your inner-Marie Kondo and create a filing system. Tip: right click 'inbox' and create a folder. Ideas include important offices such as financial aid, each class on your schedule, and your academic advisor or major professor. This simple filing system will help keep your inbox more manageable and your virtual life a little less stressful.

Brace Yourself: Scammers Are Coming

K-State will never ask for a password via email. If you receive an email asking for your password, delete it immediately. Phishing scams use creative ways to try and get you to share personal information. Information Technology Services says "don't take the bait!" #clever Review ways to protect yourself online.
