K-state Libraries

Library services are available to students near and far. If you are working on a research paper and have a question about how the library can help, take advantage of their nifty "Ask a Librarian" chat feature.

Last Day for 50 Percent Refund

Sept. 23 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full-semester) class for a 50% refund. The non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates. I know, we have already told you this and now sound like a broken record. Just in case, be sure and review drop/refund dates for each course individually. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Financial Tip

There are many things in this world which are hard to argue when described as beautiful (the fall weather and corresponding foliage here in Manhattan comes to mind), but it's not often the topic of budgeting falls into this category. Read the Sept. 11 blog, "The Beauty of Budgeting," to see why one Powercat Financial peer counselor thinks budgeting is not only necessary, but also a thing of beauty.

There is still time to request a tutor this semester. Call the Academic Achievement Center at 785-532-5703 to schedule one now!
