Prepare to Enroll

Enrollment is officially underway for the spring 2023 semester. If you are receiving an error message when attempting to enroll, it could be because your Time to Enroll hasn't passed or you have holds. Pro tip: add to your shopping cart so you're prepared to "finish enrolling" when your enrollment date/time comes. Just remember that adding to your cart doesn't reserve a spot for you, like that sweater you knew you should have bought but was in your cart for too long and got swept up. So be sure to proceed to the step "finish enrolling" as soon as you can to get what you need before it's gone.

Last Day to Drop

Oct. 28 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full-semester) class. Like very, very last day. Just to make things interesting, non-standard (aka short) courses have their own deadlines, so remember to view refund/drop dates in KSIS for each course individually. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Scholarships

Last chance to apply for spring 2023 K-State Global Campus scholarships before the application closes on Nov. 1. This is one of those times you're actually encouraged to pass go and collect $200 (or more). All without staying up until 3 a.m. trying to figure out how to finish the game so everyone can just please go to bed for the love of all things Willie the Wildcat.

Wildcat Dialogues

Looking for an immersive intercultural leadership experience? Join new and first-year K-State students for a night of meaningful discussion and building connections through Wildcat Dialogues. Virtual sessions will be held on Nov. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Nov. 3 from 4-6 p.m. and Nov. 4 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. (Central time). Registration is due tomorrow, Oct. 26. Select that you will not be attending the in-person event and you will be prompted to sign up for a virtual option.

Add a Minor or Certificate

K-State Online offers 26 minors and more than 40 certificate programs which may complement your current area of study. Minors and certificates allow you to delve deeper into a topic that may not be covered under your major (academic bonus) and look nice on a resume (job bonus). Visit our program finder or contact us to learn more about how you can add a minor or certificate.

Happy Halloween

Find out what your Halloween celebrations say about you in this super official quiz that we just made up.

          1. If you separate your candy into categories while eating, you're an organizer.
          2. If you plan the most efficient route and the best houses for trick-or-treating in order to get the most candy, you're a maximizer.
          3. If you love to watch horror movies and jump out of bushes to scare people (even children), you're a risk taker.
          4. If you spend all year thinking up new costumes and decorations to top the neighbors, you're creative.
