WorldWide Wildcats Weekly Email

October 11, 2022

You're Halfway There

Many of you will be starting the fall semester's second round of 8-week classes next week. This is a reminder to check your K-State email and Canvas for information from your instructors. Enrollment will remain open until the first day of the class. Use our class search to view options by selecting Fall 2022 as the term and 10/17/22 as the start date. Our apologies if you also now have Livin' on a Prayer stuck in your head. We'll make it, I swear.

K-State Online Webinars

If you or someone you know is considering a K-State Online bachelor's or master's program, tune in to our informational webinars. These virtual webinars are hosted in partnership with academic program faculty and advisors, providing the opportunity to hear directly from those who facilitate and support the program. View the full event calendar, including registration links for interested students.

Prepare to Enroll

Enrollment opens in a few weeks for the spring 2023 semester. Mark your calendar for your unique enrollment date/time and check for holds to have them removed before enrolling. Use the K-State Online course search to view available options and connect with your academic advisor or major professor early so you're prepared. Tuition will be due by the first day of the spring semester.

Scholarships

Students enrolled in a K-State Online bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree program can apply now for spring 2023 scholarships. The deadline to apply is Nov. 1. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Save the Date

If you are expecting to graduate this December, congratulations! Commencement ceremonies will be held Dec. 9 and 10 in Manhattan, Kansas, (or Salina, Kansas, if you're a K-State Salina graduate) and will recognize graduates from the fall 2022 semester. Participating in commencement is encouraged but not required. Please note that if you do plan to come to Manhattan, it is important to make hotel reservations as early as possible. The commencement website will be helpful as you plan your visit.

Graduate School Checklist

Make your list and check it twice. There are a number of tasks graduate students need to complete as they progress through their program. Stay on track with the Graduate School's master's or doctoral checklists.
