Yes, you actually have to apply to graduate. Seems funny, but universities require students to apply to get in and apply to get out. So if you're in your last semester, be sure to apply for fall graduation. Doing so by Sept. 30 will ensure your name is included in the printed commencement program. Undergraduate students: direct any questions about graduation to your academic advisor. Graduate students: view the graduation and commencement checklists and contact the K-State Graduate School at grad@k-state.edu with questions.
Sept. 12 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full semester) class for a 100% refund. Just to make things interesting, non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates. For this reason, it is important to know how to view drop/refund dates for each course on your schedule. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office.

Trying to track down an important email lost in your inbox? Channel your inner Marie Kondo and create a filing system. Tip: right-click 'inbox' and create a folder. Ideas include important offices such as Financial Aid or Veteran Affairs, and your academic advisor or major professor. This simple filing system will help keep your inbox more manageable and your virtual life a little less stressful.
First impressions go a long way, and sometimes that's your resume. If yours could use a third set of eyes (your mom's feedback still counts), utilize the Career Center's service called “Resume Tune-Ups.” Critiques will be conducted with Career Center staff by Zoom screen share throughout the semester. Resume Tune-Ups can be scheduled in Handshake.

The panel provides an opportunity for instructors to hear firsthand from our students about what works in an online course environment.
