End of Term

Keep calm — you're almost there. The spring 2021 semester officially ends on Friday, May 14. Best of luck finishing up your semester. You've got this. We understand if several coffee plants were harmed in the process.

First Generation Grad Reception

The Office of First-generation Students will be hosting a virtual graduation reception on Friday, May 14 at 2:30 p.m. CDT. If you are a first-generation student graduating this spring, please sign up to attend the recognition event by April 30.

Finals Prep

In case you missed it, review this finals prep checklist tool and YouTube video from the ever helpful staff in the Academic Achievement Center. You can even take their BuzzFeed Quiz for direction on which resources to start with when preparing for finals based on your individual needs. We are rooting for you!

Career Center

If you're graduating this semester, you might be preparing for interviews. The K-State Career Center provides training resources, career advising and employment connections to prepare you for the workforce. Also known as #adulting. Sign in to your Handshake account to make an appointment to receive one-on-one career advising, research companies and employers, search for jobs and more.

Wellness App

A wellness app called Aura is helping to support emotional health by giving students extra resources for mindfulness/meditation/sleep management. As a K-State student, you can access the app free for six months! The subscription is opt-in and no credit card information is collected to access the free trial. Provide a phone number to receive a text that allows you to input the code JEDSTUDENTS to redeem the offer.

Summer Financial Aid

The 2021 summer financial aid application can be submitted securely online through the OSFA portal. Tip: students must have a 2020-2021 FAFSA on file with K-State's Office of Student Financial Assistance before the form can be processed as summer is considered a trailing term for financial aid.
