Last Day for 100% Refund

Feb. 15 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full semester) class for a 100% refund. Just to make things interesting, non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates and follow these deadlines. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Special Assistance

The Student Access Center is committed to providing equal access and opportunity for students with disabilities. Arrange for the academic accommodations and support you may need during your course.

Ten-Minute Tune-Ups

First impressions go a long way, and sometimes that's your resume. If yours could use a third set of eyes (your mom's feedback still counts) utilize the Career Center's new service called “Ten-Minute Tune-Ups.” Critiques will be conducted with Career Center staff by Zoom screen share throughout the spring 2021 semester. Ten Minute Tune-Ups can be scheduled in Handshake, with appointments available from noon to 4 p.m. CST Monday through Thursday.

Apply for Graduation

Yes, you actually have to apply to graduate. Seems odd, but universities require students to apply to get in and apply to get out. So if you're in your last semester, be sure to apply for spring graduation. Undergraduate students: direct any questions about graduation to your academic advisor. Graduate students: view the deadlines for graduation and ETDR submission checklists and contact the K-State Graduate School at 785-532-6191 or grad@k-state.edu with any questions.

Organize Your Inbox

Trying to track down an important email lost in your inbox? Channel your inner-Marie Kondo and create a filing system. Tip: right click 'inbox' and create a folder. Ideas include important offices such as financial aid, each class on your schedule, and your academic advisor or major professor. This simple filing system will help keep your inbox more manageable and your virtual life a little less stressful.

Happy Valentine's Day

The true origin of Valentine's Day is murky, but one thing is clear - eating chocolate while studying improves focus. Whether you're struck by cupid or dodging the arrow, we hope you have a sweet Valentine's Day.
