Drop Dates

If you need to drop a class, make sure you do so before the deadline. Due to the differing start/end dates, it is important you know how to view drop dates for each class on your schedule. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Online Tutoring

The Academic Achievement Center provides online tutoring via Zoom for undergraduate students enrolled in K-State Online classes. Whether you're anxious about a course after seeing the syllabus or confident in the material and could benefit from help to lock in that A, request a tutor today.

Apply for Scholarships

Current students should apply for scholarships offered through the Office of Student Financial Assistance by March 15. These are for scholarships awarded for the 2021-2022 academic year. K-State Global Campus has a separate scholarship application that awards three times per year. See website for specific application deadlines (tip: the summer deadline is Feb. 15). Students are encouraged to complete both applications.

Career Center

If your answer is something like, "I'm not really sure, yet" to the age-old question, "So, what are you going to do with that degree?" then you are not alone. Most degrees lend well to a variety of different careers. It's never too early, or too late, to dive deeper into your options. Check out 10 ways to connect your major to a career. Also, make an appointment with the K-State Career Center. They can help make the process a little less daunting.

Free Software for Students

As a K-State student you have access to free software, including Microsoft Office (yeah, you heard that right). The Microsoft Office package includes desktop and mobile app versions and can be installed on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five phones.
