Enroll In Intersession

August intersession begins Aug. 3 and will run through Aug. 21. Intersession is a time between university semesters when students can concentrate on one class in a shorter, accelerated period of time. Whether you want to balance your schedule, work ahead on your degree or take a fun elective, intersession has something for everyone.

Time to Enroll

Enrollment is underway for the fall 2020 semester. K-State Global Campus offers more than 600 online courses each semester. Use the course search page to narrow down our offerings, and use KSIS to enroll. Having trouble enrolling? The most common errors are due to holds. Enroll today to ensure your spot, as classes tend to fill up quickly. Following the adjusted fall 2020 academic calendar, the semester begins Aug. 17.

Commencement Update

The dates for fall graduation ceremonies have been set. Provost Chuck Taber shared K-State's revised plan to celebrate our spring, summer and fall 2020 graduates in combined ceremonies on Nov. 20 for the Polytechnic campus and Nov. 23 and 24 for the Manhattan campus. In the coming weeks, additional information regarding the schedule of ceremonies and other updates will be posted on the commencement website. Read the full announcement in the June 16 edition of K-State Today.

CARE Healing Fund

The Center for Advocacy, Response and Education (CARE) recognizes the collective grief, pain and trauma individuals are experiencing as a result of the local, state, national and global events that continue unfolding. CARE reminds the K-State community of its CARE Healing Fund service. The healing fund provides K-State individuals funding for mental health services like individual or group therapy for those who have experienced violence. Interested participants can email ksucare@k-state.edu to inquire more information about the healing fund.

Innovation and Inspiration

Join the K-State family as we celebrate the extraordinary generosity expressed over the past 10 years during the Innovation and Inspiration campaign, through which the goal of reaching $1 billion in private gifts for Kansas State University was well surpassed. Mark your calendar for the first virtual event at 5:30 p.m. CDT on July 1. Go to the KSU Foundation's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as the campaign website, inspire.k-state.edu, where you can learn more about the impact generous donors have made on K-State.

You've Been Challenged

Ready, setty, confetti! With over 2,800 scholarships created and $1.4 billion raised over the last 10 years through the Innovation and Inspiration campaign, we all have reason to celebrate the place we love full well! Check out the K-State Foundation and K-State Online on social media to watch the purple and white confetti fly. President Myers and Global Campus Dean Karen Pedersen want to see YOUR video.
