Graduation Deadlines

In an effort to give students and staff adequate time to prepare for enrollment given the current circumstances, the Office of the Registrar has pushed enrollment dates out one week. Please view your newly assigned enrollment date in your KSIS student center.

Counseling Services

If you are experiencing heightened levels of stress, anxiety, or other emotions given the current times, K-State has help. K-Staters are encouraged to use these services for mental health support.

Last day to drop a class

Monday, March 30, is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full-semester) class. Like very, very last day. Non-standard (aka short) courses have their own unique drop/refund dates and follow these deadlines. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Graduation cancellations

The university has decided to cancel its in-person commencement ceremonies, which were scheduled for May 9, May 15-16 on the Manhattan and Polytechnic campuses. Following suit, the K-State Global Campus reception previously scheduled for May 15 has also been canceled. We will miss this opportunity to meet many of you in person. The university is reviewing alternate methods to celebrate the academic achievements of our students and will release details later. Please watch for information regarding the Global Campus virtual commencement as well.

Scholarships

Don't forget to fill out the Global Campus scholarship application by the April 1 deadline if you plan to take summer classes. The little time it takes to complete the application could be worth a lot of money!

Career Fair

Don't forget to attend the Big 12 Virtual Career Fair tomorrow, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT. Students can meet employers live online as they seek to recruit from Big 12 universities. K-State has some of the brightest, so put on your suit jacket and slippers (we won't tell), and get ready to browse the fair!
