Show me the Money

Students enrolled in a Global Campus bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree program should apply now for spring 2020 scholarships. We're planning to award up to $37,900 for spring 2020 to distance students based on a variety of eligibility factors, including grade point average, financial need, military status, degree program or current employer.

Tune In

Kansas State University is home to the Landon Lecture Series, one of the nation's most prestigious and well-known lectures. Several times a year, global leaders share insight on the Landon Lecture stage. Alan Murray, the CEO of Fortune, will deliver his lecture, "The Future of Facts: Searching for Truth in the 21st Century" at 10:30 a.m. CST, on Friday, Sept. 27, in McCain Auditorium. If you're local, consider attending this free event in person. A link to view the live stream will appear here Friday morning and the recording will be available online to follow.

Last Day to Drop Without a W

Sept. 30 is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full-semester) class without a W (aka withdrawal) being recorded on your transcript. If you haven't already, check out the tutorial on how to view your drop/refund deadlines for each class. Dropping all of your classes requires you to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.

Research Workshops

K-State Libraries and the Graduate School have teamed up to offer The Library and Your Research Workshops series. These free, hour-long workshops are designed to provide graduate students with a solid foundation for a successful academic experience. Sessions are streamed live via Zoom and recordings are available on the library's website.

Pumpkin Spice Everything

Sept. 23 marked the first day of the fall season. Fall at K-State means football (go 'Cats), 60 degree weather, long walks on the beach campus admiring the changing leaves and pumpkin-flavored Call Hall ice cream. Happy fall, y'all.
