Apply for Graduation

Yes, you actually have to apply to graduate. For some reason, universities require students to apply to get in and apply to get out. So if you're in your last semester, be sure to apply for fall graduation. Undergraduate students: direct any questions about graduation to your academic advisor. Graduate students: view the graduation and commencement deadline calendar and contact the K-State Graduate School at 785-532-6191 or grad@k-state.edu with any questions.

Last Day for 100 Percent Refund

Monday, Sept. 16, is the last day to drop a regular session (aka full semester) class for a 100% refund. Keep in mind non-standard (aka short) classes are different. This tutorial on how to view drop/refund dates in KSIS will come in handy for that reason.

Home Sweet Hale

Good news! While renovations continue on our beloved Hale Library following the May 22, 2018, fire, doors opened last week to the Dave and Ellie Everitt Learning Commons on the first floor. If you're on campus, be sure to visit/utilize the new space; otherwise, check out this short video on the transformation. We are thankful to the more than 2,400 individuals who have contributed to Help for Hale thus far.

New Program

Effectively using computers to solve problems is a key part of the modern, technology-driven workplace. The undergraduate certificate in computer science was developed to provide computer programming skills to any student looking to enhance their career outlook after graduation and be more marketable to potential employers. This 14-hour certificate will teach the skills needed to solve real-world problems by developing your own computer software.

SmarterMeasure Assessment

SmarterMeasure is an assessment which quantifies a learner’s level of readiness for studying in an online or technology-rich environment. All students at K-State Global Campus are invited to take this assessment. It’s meant to provide feedback on different aspects of your life and offers resources to help you make the most of your time at K-State. If you haven’t already been added to the SmarterMeasure course in K-State online, you may request it here.
