Virtual Commencement

Commencement ceremonies will be held May 17-18 in Manhattan, Kansas, to recognize graduates from the spring and summer 2019 semesters. Although we hope our distance students will join us on campus, many will not be able to do so. As a way to honor and celebrate their accomplishment, K-State Global Campus offers this Virtual Commencement website. University faculty and staff, family and friends can post their congratulations through a virtual reception message board. Post or read congratulatory messages here.

Global Campus Grad Reception

K-State Global Campus will host a graduation reception in the Alumni Center from 4-5:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, for distance students who will be on campus to participate in commencement. Students will have the opportunity to connect with fellow graduates as well as meet K-State Global Campus faculty and staff members. K-State's beloved mascot, Willie the Wildcat, usually makes an appearance for high fives and pictures, too (he's very photogenic). If you are a graduate and planning to attend, visit our alumni page to RSVP. Contact alumni coordinator Melinda Sinn with questions.

End of Term

Keep calm — you're almost there. The spring 2019 semester officially ends on Friday, May 17. Best of luck finishing up your semester. You've got this. We understand if several coffee plants were harmed in the process.

First Generation Grad Reception

More than 600 undergraduate first-generation college students will earn their degrees this spring. K-State will recognize their accomplishments and celebrate with their families at the First-generation Student Graduation Reception at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, at the K-State Alumni Center. First-generation students in attendance will receive a green cord to wear at graduation that symbolizes their resilience throughout their college years. Families, friends and supporters of first-generation graduates are welcome to attend the celebration. Click here to learn more about the celebration and to RSVP

May Intersession Begins

May intersession is set to begin May 20. Intersession is a time between university semesters when students can concentrate on one class in a shorter, accelerated period of time. Whether you want to balance your schedule, work ahead on your degree or take a fun elective, intersession has something for everyone. Browse and enroll in upcoming intersession classes.
