Career Advising Appointments for Distance Learners: K-State's career advisors are available to meet with K-State students free of charge. A career advisor can assist you with your resume and cover letter, and provide guidance on job searches, mock interviews and more. 

Follow these steps to set up a Zoom, phone or in-person appointment: 

  1. Log in to Handshake.
  2. Follow the prompts to activate your Handshake account.
  3. Select “Career Center” in the top drop-down menu. 
  4. Select “Appointments.”
  5. Choose “Zoom” or “Phone Appointment” as your appointment medium.
