Explore how you can contribute scholarship dollars for online students
As alumni, giving back to Kansas State University is an opportunity to help others achieve their degree, and online learning provides an avenue for many adults to complete bachelor’s degrees and earn advanced degrees without coming to campus for extended periods of time.
Your philanthropy can support K-State distance education students who need to stay in their community for a variety of reasons, whether to continue employment or to fulfill family obligations. By contributing to K-State Global Campus, you can make an impact for adults who are furthering their careers.
Develop a new scholarship
Nathan and Becky Smit have established a scholarship for online students earning their bachelor's degree in food science through K-State Global Campus. Nathan (B.S. in Food Science, ’08) currently serves as Senior Innovations Manager at Hormel Foods Corporation. Since earning his bachelor's degree, Smit has quickly advanced at Hormel Foods with six promotions, starting as a lab technician and working his way up to his current position of senior innovation manager. He contributes his success in large part to the world-class education he received from K-State and wanted to give back to help others like himself.
