Our goal at Global Campus is to increase enrollment within our online programs at Kansas State University. By utilizing state and nationwide recruitment events, virtual outreach through webinars offered globally and prospective student activities, our team can foster eligible recruits into successful online students. These efforts work seamlessly with the current recruitment efforts being used by Kansas State University at large.
We would love to work with you in your efforts to reach more potential students by utilizing the following recruitment tools:
Webinars – collaborate with program departments to coordinate department-led webinars. The Recruitment Unit sets up the webinar, handles all registration and communication, and markets the webinar to prospective students. A follow-up e-mail with the link to the recorded webinar is also sent out to all registrants.
Events – The unit attends several events throughout the year to market K-State’s Online programs throughout Kansas and the United States. The unit also participates in several virtual events throughout the year.
Salesforce (this will eventually change to Slate) Customer Relationship Management System – Students who inquire, as well as students who immediately apply, are tracked in our CRM. The Recruitment unit connects with these students through automated e-mail campaigns as well as through individual communications such as e-mail, Zoom appointments, and phone calls. The unit staff help guide students from the first point of interest through the application and acceptance process.
Prospective student engagement activities – The unit regularly engages with prospective students via e-mail, phone calls, and online chat. We are also in the process of introducing text messaging to engage with students. We believe in meeting the student where they are and utilizing multiple communication strategies assists us in doing so.
