Free Online Course (MOOC)

Health and Wellness is an online course offered through Kansas State University Global Campus as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course.) A MOOC is an online course offered for free with unlimited participation and open access via the web. MOOCs started in 2012 and have grown in popularity as a way for individuals to learn and form communities in areas that interest them.

The Health and Wellness MOOC is offered by Kansas State University's College of Health and Human Sciences as a way to reach individuals who want to improve their health and create simple steps for a healthier lifestyle.

Health and Wellness is a free course offered for a short period of time. Individuals who want to pursue an area of study in this field can pursue K-State's online health and nutrition bachelor's degree or the dietetics bachelor's degree. Professionals interested in graduate degrees can complete K-State's online degrees in dietetics, gerontology, and family and community services.
