Conferences

Kansas State University Global Campus is pleased to extend an invitation to K-State faculty, who are active online instructors or planning to establish distance courses, to attend a national conference centered on distance teaching and learning. Global Campus will provide up to $1,000 per faculty member toward the conference registration fee and other travel expenses for two faculty members in each academic college to attend one of the conferences highlighted below. Faculty who are interested in taking this opportunity will need to visit with their department head and college dean to secure funding for the remaining expenses associated with the conference attendance.

Submit your application (DOC) by March 31 (due date extended until April 12) for distance education conference funding. Recipients will be announced by early May.

In addition to the annual event, as a contribution to the field of distance education and training, and with permissions from presenters and guest speakers, a searchable collection of past conference resources (proceedings and summary papers, keynote and forum videos, etc.) is provided in the conference resource library. There are approximately 1,000 resources available from the past several conferences."
