Faculty Services

Through services offered by Kansas State University Global Campus, K-State can offer distance education courses and degree programs, provide training to businesses and industries through noncredit learning opportunities.

As a faculty member, you have K-State Global Campus resources available to help review and integrate information about your project. You will have access to technical competencies and capabilities to tailor just the right solution for you.

Degree and Program Development

The growing need for educated and highly skilled individuals in the workforce encourages current workers to strive to obtain a bachelor's degree, master's degree, certifications and other advanced education while working full-time and unable to relocate to a college campus.

Kansas State University Global Campus has provided educational opportunities to non-traditional students for over 50 years, offering degrees, certification programs and noncredit courses.

Course Development Services

Global Campus offers instructional design services to assist you in maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of your instruction in online learning environments.

Instructional Designers offer:

  • Design and development support (credit or noncredit)
  • Custom presentations to departments on instructional design topics
  • Support for grant development
  • Support with authoring tools and technologies for online learning development
  • Technology troubleshooting

Several colleges have instructional designers to assist you. Check with your dean’s office for contact information.

Course Services

The K-State Global Campus Student Success and Advising office offers several services to help facilitate courses including:

  • Collect, approve and monitor proctor agreements for proctored exams.
  • Send correspondence to your students via email.
  • Send paper exams or electronic exam passwords to proctors.
  • Collect, log and distribute exams.
  • Send course materials to students.


Intersession is a time between standard university semesters when individuals can complete rigorous course work in an short timeframe. K-State Global Campus gives students the opportunity to concentrate on an on-campus or online course intensively while earning extra credits to accelerate their program completion. Noncredit Development

Professional development opportunities for individuals and companies are vital to maintaining a highly productive and competitive workforce. Noncredit opportunities offer professionals opportunities for skills refreshment, career advancement, workforce development and recertification. K-State’s academic resources can be formatted and delivered to help meet workforce needs.
