Data Analytics Graduate and Undergraduate Certificate
Demand continues to rise for professionals with education and skills in the mining, management and interpretation of “big data.” Kansas State University’s 15 credit hour online certificate in data analytics is offered at both the graduate and undergraduate level to prepare students for opportunities in this high-demand area.
Data analytics is a broad field requiring expertise in technical data science as well as applied data analytics. The graduate certificate offers both options as tracks. The program’s data science track focuses on the techniques, methods and algorithms for storing, retrieving, managing, parsing and computing data. Courses in the applied analytics track teach students to apply those computational methods toward business problems and communicate with stakeholders.
Students completing the undergraduate certificate will have the opportunity to tailor their elective choices to whichever topics are the most interesting or practical.
The required coursework for both programs can be completed fully online, with additional elective options available on campus. The certificate programs are available to students residing both in and out of the United States.
