Mass Communications Master's Degree

Are you ready to work closely with nationally renowned experts to earn your master’s degree? The online master’s in mass communications program provides flexibility, relevance and cutting-edge instruction to meet your goals.

This program, housed in the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications, allows you to focus your coursework on topics such as strategic communication, health and science communication, or digital news and audiences. Working with accomplished scholars and practitioners, you will engage with the latest ideas and methods in mass communications. Graduates of the program have gone on to careers at major media organizations and held leadership positions at national public relations and advertising agencies.

The 30-credit-hour online master’s in mass communications uses a rigorous mix of theoretical, empirical and professional approaches to prepare students for evolving mass-media disciplines.
