Bakery Science Minor
World renowned within the grain, feed, and allied industries for quality and innovation of its education, K-State’s Department of Grain Science and Industry offers this online minor in bakery science. A minor in bakery science provides students with a knowledge base that includes exploring the functionality of ingredients in baked goods and the characteristics of cereal grains.
The bakery science minor is available to students in the process of receiving a related degree from an accredited university and to graduates from accredited programs. Industry, companies, associations and trade groups may be interested in making the bakery science minor available to non-K-State graduates so employees without a grain-based background learn basic information to better understand the industry as well as receive college credit for a minor.
