Three from Global Campus honored by ACHE

Friday, October 7, 2016

Kansas State University Global Campus will receive three awards from the Association for Continuing Higher Education at the organization’s national conference next month.

Dave Stewart, who retired from K-State Global Campus in July, will receive the Emeritus Award, while Jo Maseberg-Tomlinson will receive the organization’s Rising Star Award.

UFM will receive an award for its work with Project EXCELL, a noncredit program targeting area adults with developmental disabilities.

Stewart served as associate dean of K-State Global Campus, then known as the division of continuing education, beginning in 2011 up until his retirement in 2016.

Maseberg-Tomlinson serves as a coordinator of credit programs at K-State Global Campus, working primarily with Evening College, Summer School and Intersession. Her work with K-State’s summer programs turned a steady decline into an increase in enrollment in the first year.
