- Facilitate the delivery and coordination of the College of Education courses and programs offered via distance methods of delivery, including courses offered in a face-to-face format at locations other than the K-State campus.
Serve as liaison with the College of Education faculty and staff for all distance education concerns/needs.
Coordinate marketing and promotion of the College of Education distance programs.
Julie Hunt is a Program Coordinator with Kansas State University Global Campus. She facilitates the delivery and coordination of the College of Education courses and programs offered via distance, including courses offered in face-to-face format at locations other than the Kansas State University Manhattan campus. Julie serves as liaison with the College of Education faculty and staff for all distance education concerns/needs which includes coordinating the development of new classes and programs for online learning. She coordinates marketing and promotion of the College of Education distance graduate programs for K-12 personnel, for educators working with adult learners and for academic advisors in higher education. Julie has a Bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a Master’s degree from Kansas State University.
Previously, Julie taught in the public schools in Denver, Colorado, Rochester, New York, Ithaca, New York, and Bowling Green, Ohio. She was an academic advisor for 27 years serving students in Bowling Green, Ohio, and at Kansas State University. Her professional goal is to serve as an advocate for students and to ensure that educational opportunities are available for all.
Julie plays trombone in the Thundering Cats Big Band, the Manhattan Municipal Band and the UCC Brass Ensemble. She enjoys traveling, reading, attending concerts and theater productions, spending time with her husband and three daughters and K-State sports.
