- Directs activities and initiatives of the Conferences and Noncredit Programs unit including full time coordinators, registration staff and students.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with university faculty, departments and liaison with community hospitality representatives.
- Reviews, revise and approve all contracts for the Conferences and Noncredit Programs unit.
- Serves on K-State Global Campus leadership team.
As director of the Conferences and Noncredit Programs, Jeff is responsible for the oversight of the unit’s team members and their conferences. He has been with K-State since August 2013 and looks forward to encouraging each conference team member to become the “expert” in their chosen area of interest. Jeff believes strongly in getting the job done on time, within budget, while ensuring that all projects are completed with an eye toward quality and attention to detail.
Originally from Syracuse, NY, Jeff has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. After working for American Airlines and a large travel agency, he founded Executive Meetings & Incentives in New Jersey which managed over 500 meetings, special events and incentive travel programs for their clients. Moving to South Florida in 2001, Jeff started Conference Partners where he worked closely with insurance clients assisting with a strategic meeting management program that placed an emphasis on the return on investment. He has also worked with a team of individuals responsible for managing events in Budapest, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Salzburg, London, Mexico, and Buenos Aires.
Jeff received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Syracuse University. Additionally Jeff secured his certification in the hospitality field as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
