  1. Serve as a member of the Global Campus central administrative support team.
  2. Provide administrative support to the associate dean for operations and community outreach, Conference Management Services unit and the Strategy, Information Systems and Operations unit.
  3. Manage conference supplies and equipment check-out.
  4. Assist in other units within the K-State Global Campus as requested.


Cherri Harms serves as an Office Specialist II for the dean's office, assigned to provide support to the conference and non-credit programs, information systems and marketing and communication services units within Kansas State University Global Campus. Her primary responsibilities include administrative support to the unit leaders and personnel in these units.

Prior to joining K-State Global Campus, Cherri spent 11 years in educational settings, including Fort Hays State University and Hutchinson Community College. She also spent more than 20 years in the business sector in administrative and project roles for both public and private institutions.

Cherri holds a master's in psychology from Kansas State University, having graduated from the K-State Global Campus MIOP program. She also holds a bachelor's in business and an associate in secretarial administration from Fort Hays State University. She and her husband live in Manhattan and have three children and a dog. She is an avid sports enthusiast and is a passionate and loyal K-State fan.
