Ashley Nietfeld serves as the manager for marketing and communications at Kansas State University Global Campus. In her role, Ashley is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall marketing for K-State Global Campus. She oversees the creative team, providing strategic direction for all marketing communications across multiple mediums, including digital, email, web and print. Ashley develops content for all campaigns administered through the customer relationship management (CRM) system and ensures messaging is coherent and consistent.
Ashley served as a marketing and communications specialist at K-State Global Campus prior to beginning her role as manager. As the marketing and communications specialist, she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and promotional plans for the online programs developed by the College of Education.
Prior to joining K-State, Ashley worked in product development, project management and marketing for The Master Teacher, a K-12 professional development company. In her role, she was responsible for a line of more than 100 products for K-12 teachers, including books, publications, videos and online courses. She also served as the managing editor and lead copywriter for multiple publications and books.
Ashley began her career as a reporter for the Dodge City Daily Globe after graduating from K-State with a degree in English Literature.
Ashley is the recipient of the 2017 Association for Continuing and Higher Education Rising Star Award, the 2017 University Professional and Continuing Education Association Central Region Continuing Education Support Specialist Award and the 2017 K-State Global Campus Lynda Spire Positive Focus Award.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for UFM Community Learning Center. She also served as the 2015-16 Vice Chair of Networking and Communications for the University Professional and Continuing Education Association.
