Our History
Continuing education at Kansas State University originated through the Kansas Cooperative Extension service, tasked with extending the university to the people. Out of our Extension roots, the Kansas Board of Regents established the K-State Division of Continuing Education in 1966, later renamed K-State Global Campus.
Take a look back at how far we've come in 50 years to continue our mission: extending K-State's intellectual resources through quality degree programs, lifelong learning and professional development opportunities.
