If this is your first experience with online learning, you may still have some questions about what to expect. These Tips for Success will help you get started in the online learning environment.
If you need to drop a class, make sure you do so before the deadline. Due to the differing start/end dates, it is important you know how to view drop/refund deadlines for each class on your schedule. Dropping all of your classes requires undergraduate students to contact your academic dean's office. Graduate students should email grad@k-state.edu.
The Academic Achievement Center provides online tutoring via Zoom for K-State Online undergraduate students who are enrolled in K-State courses. View the course offerings to see if tutoring is available for a subject you're studying this fall.
As a K-State student, you have access to free software, including Microsoft Office. The Microsoft Office package includes desktop and mobile app versions and can be installed on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five phones. Batteries not included.
If your answer is something like, "I'm not sure, yet" to the age-old question, "So, what are you going to do with that degree?" then you are not alone. Most degrees lend well to a variety of different careers. It's never too early, or too late, to explore options. Check out the What can I do with a major in...? webpage to learn more. Students can also make an appointment with the K-State Career Center.
