Welcome to the New Semester

Welcome all new and returning Kansas State University Global Campus students to the official first day of the spring 2020 semester. Note to self: you've got this! Fill up your coffee cup, because every Tuesday for the next 16 weeks, we'll be delivering you need-to-know information just for distance students — aka the WorldWide Wildcats.

K-state Online

New look, same great services! Visit K-State Online to see how our website has improved. Current and prospective students can easily navigate to explore programs, learn more about paying for school, review support services and more. This is one face-lift we are proud to show off. Global Campus won’t be going anywhere, though. As one of the university’s four campuses, we remain the administrative home for K-State Online..

Canvas

Access your online classes through K-State Canvas (aka that place you'll be spending all your time). If you're new to Canvas, take the tour. Download the app on Android and iOS devices to take your courses with you on the go.

Tuition Is Due

Tuition for most students is due on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. CST. Visit your Student Center in KSIS for details. There are two online payment methods: paying by credit card incurs a fee, while paying by electronic payment out of a checking account is free of charge. The Tuition Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) allows payments to be spread out over the semester. View all payment options.

Financial Aid Refunds

Spring 2020 financial aid refund checks will be mailed to your KSIS local address on Thursday, Jan. 23. Get your refunds faster with direct deposit (EFT). After the first week of classes, EFTs are processed daily while paper checks are processed once per week.

Add Classes

It's not too late! You have until Jan. 28 to enroll in additional courses that begin today, Jan. 21. After that date, instructor permission is required. Search for available online classes.

Textbooks

See our website for specific instructions on how to locate and purchase required textbooks. Make sure to order textbooks and materials right away to account for shipping times. Not everyone can be Amazon Prime.

Treat Yo' Self

As a K-State student you have access to free software, including Microsoft Office (yeah, you heard that right). The Microsoft Office package includes desktop and mobile app versions and can be installed on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five phones.
