Applying for federal aid can be a tricky process. K-State's Office of Student Financial Assistance can help! Visit their page about completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Not only does it contain direct links to specific, need-to-know information, but also provides short videos to help you through the process.
The information included on the FAFSA will help to determine if you are eligible for grants, loans or work-study funding. The priority date for submitting this form for the 2020-2021 academic year is Dec. 1. If you have questions while filling out your form, make sure to connect with your Financial Aid Advisor .
Looking for ways to strengthen your credit? While our friends at Powercat Financial cannot help with academic credit or street cred, they do offer a wealth of information on credit scores.
Dr. Justin Kastner, associate professor in K-State's department of diagnostic medicine/pathobiology, will present as part of the What Matters to Me and Why lecture series Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. The presentation will take place in Town Hall, Leadership Studies Building, from noon to 1 p.m. Current students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join in person, if local; otherwise, tune-in via zoom.
