Consortium Partnerships

Kansas State University's consortium partnerships help increase and strengthen the educational options available to students at all member institutions.

AG*IDEA
AG*IDEA, an affiliate of the Great Plains IDEA, is a national consortium of universities offering programs and courses in agriculture disciplines. Through AG*IDEA, students can complete an online degree, graduate certificate or undergraduate certificate as well as take online agricultural course work to expand their knowledge base in agricultural areas.

Great Plains IDEA
The Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA) is a consortium of universities offering online graduate and undergraduate programs in the fields of human sciences and agriculture. Students are enrolled in courses and graduate from one institution but may be taught by faculty from any of the member institutions participating in their program.

Institute for Academic Alliances
The K-State Institute for Academic Alliances develops and manages collaborative distance learning alliances that respond to critical educational needs, including the Great Plains IDEA and the University Engineering Alliance.

KCCAP
Kansas City Collegiate Admissions Professionals (KCCAP) is a consortium of colleges and universities represented in the Kansas City metro area that provides education fairs to businesses and organizations.

LEARN-Wichita
The Local Education Adult Resource Network (LEARN) is an educational organization comprised of colleges, universities and trade/technical schools located in Wichita that work together to provide a rich diversity of educational opportunities for adults and employers.

National Universities Degree Consortium (NUDC)
The National Universities Degree Consortium (NUDC) allows students and future students to browse distance education courses and various degree programs ranging from associate degrees, doctoral degrees and certificate programs from member institutions.

University Engineering Alliance
The University Engineering Alliance increases access to engineering courses in high demand areas. The multi-state alliance offers online courses in nuclear engineering taught by leading university faculty. Students enrolled at any partner university can take online courses from the best faculty in the discipline across the alliance.
