Student Success

Engineering Management master's Amy Martens

“I was very passionate about the discipline of engineering, but I also wanted to enhance my business skills. The more I looked into the engineering management master’s program at K-State, I realized I could have the best of both worlds.”

— Amy Martens ‘01

Students will develop an economic, technical and human resource perspective for the technical managerial decisions they will face. They will be equipped to react to changes in domestic and international markets, workforce dynamics and emerging technologies and be able to plan for the future success of their businesses. All courses are offered online. Students never need to come to campus for any course work and will travel to the Kansas State university campus only once at the end of their program for an oral examination which is conducted by their supervisory committee.
