Students who participate in DirectLink will be connected with an academic advisor at K-State in their academic area of interest to provide them with a personalized curriculum sequence to ensure they are on track to a timely graduation all while working towards their associates degree at the community college.

-You receive an application fee waiver*, not all programs accept an app fee waiver. *You must be a DirectLink participant for 1 semester prior to your first semester at K-State to receive waiver.
-You are connected to a K-State advisor and have a personalized long term plan towards obtaining your bachelor’s degree.
-Receive invitations to attend special event days on campus!

Yes, when you sign up for DirectLink we will connect you and your community college advisor with an advisor at K-State to create a specialized academic plan for you.

No, you are not committed to K-State. However, we encourage you to consider applying to K-State to continue your academic career.

No, you do not have to graduate with your associated degree if you participate in DirectLink. However, it is highly encouraged that you communicate your plan with your advisor at your community college and at K-State. You can always participate in our reverse transfer program as well! You can find more information about reverse transfer here.
