Admissions

Students can take classes through Global Campus at Kansas State University under several options. Determine which of the following best fits your situation.

Degree-Seeking

Undergraduate degree-seeking: Application must be made to K-State for admittance through the K-State Bachelor's Degree Completion Program (BDCP), by going to a specific bachelor's degree website to apply.

Graduate degree-seeking: Application must be made to K-State for admittance to a graduate degree program. Applicants should contact the academic department for specific information.

Nondegree-Seeking

Undergraduate nondegree-seeking: Students wishing to take undergraduate distance classes without applying to a degree program must apply to K-State as a nondegree-seeking student. Individuals can take up to 15 credit hours as a nondegree-seeking undergraduate student.

Graduate nondegree-seeking: Students wishing to take graduate distance classes without applying to a degree program must request to take classes at K-State as a nondegree-seeking student. Individuals can take up to 9 credit hours as a nondegree-seeking graduate student.

Students who wish to have nondegree-seeking status must first search for courses through the Course Search page. After all classes have been selected and a Class Interest List has been generated, the Getting Started questions that appear below the Class Interest List will direct the student to the correct nondegree-seeking form that must be filled out and submitted online. Answer "No" to the third question "Do you wish to apply now, or are you currently admitted, to a degree or certificate program?"

Enrolling for Classes

Once you are approved as a degree- or nondegree-seeking student, the How to Enroll instructions on the Course Search page will assist you in enrolling in a Global Campus class.
