Nathan Bramsen '15
Community Development Master's
Greenville, South Carolina
At the age of 16, Nate Bramsen saw the need to invest his life into the abused, neglected and abandoned children of the world. While living in Niger, Africa, he completed a master's report that focused on combatting malnutrition in Niger using little initial funding and the existing resources that were not yet being utilized.
Before moving to Africa, Bramsen founded ROCK International — or Relief, Opportunity and Care for Kids — a nonprofit organization for children trapped in situations of crisis. His passion for improving communities and helping others on a local to global scale strengthened through the online community development master's program.
