Admission Requirements for the Animal Science Bachelor's Program
To qualify for admission into the animal sciences and industry bachelor's degree completion program, students must have completed at least 30 college credits with a 2.0 minimum GPA.
Currently, ONLY students that reside within the United States are eligible for admission into the animal sciences and industry bachelor's program. Active duty U.S. military personnel are exempt from this requirement.
You must be admitted for the fall semester by Aug. 1, spring semester by Jan. 1 and summer semester by May 1. This means that all transcripts, application fees and any other requirements must be completed and received by these dates.
Please note: It takes at least four to six weeks for an application to be processed once all application materials have been received by the university.
How to Apply
Apply as a transfer student by completing the online application form.
The application fee is $40 for U.S. applicants. However, if you have previously attended Kansas State University, you will not have to pay the application fee again. Be sure to select the term in which you plan to take classes.
If you have received credit from other institutions, have each institution send an official transcript to the K-State Office of Admissions and follow up with that office to make sure they have received your transcripts. Transcripts mailed by students are not considered to be official. The Office of Admissions will forward your transfer course material to the program's department, where an evaluation will be made of how your courses apply toward the bachelor's degree.
Your application will not be processed until all transcripts from the institutions have been received by the Office of Admissions.
