Spring scholarships help Kansas State University Global Campus students

MANHATTAN — Thirty-four students were awarded scholarships for the spring 2017 semester by Kansas State University Global Campus. The scholarships totaled $31,900 and went to degree-seeking distance students across the U.S.

Scholarships awarded include the K-State Global Campus Scholarship for Distance Education Students and the Military Spouse Scholarship, as well as scholarships provided in collaboration with Kansas State University colleges and departments.

The spring 2017 scholarship recipients include:

Cheryl Buckner, master’s student in teaching, Global Campus Scholarship for Distance Education Students, and Kaisha Gurtner, senior in general business, College of Business Administration Scholarship for Distance Education Students, both from Dodge City; Rebecca Windholz, sophomore in general business, Hoxie, College of Business Administration Scholarship for Distance Education Students; Elsa Toburen, master’s student in academic advising, Manhattan, College of Education Scholarship for Distance Education Students; Benjamin Bryan, junior in technology management, Olathe, College of Technology and Aviation Scholarship for Distance Education Students; Kyle House, senior in general business, Salina, College of Business Administration Scholarship for Distance Education Students; Ann Schrick, master’s student in teaching, Sedgwick, College of Education Scholarship for Distance Education Students; Natalie Stanley, master’s student in business administration, St. George, College of Business Administration Scholarship for Distance Education Students.
