Dane Miller serves as the Database Developer and an IT Application Support Specialist at Kansas State University's Global Campus. His primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining database applications, as well as documenting tasks routinely performed by Global Campus staff, and wherever feasible, automating them to boost efficiency and productivity.
Prior to working with Global Campus through OME, Dane worked at Kansas State University's IT Helpdesk for five years, providing him with a strong background in customer communication. His specialty lay in translating high-level technical details into metaphorical explanations that could be understood at a given customer's comfort level.
