Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the DirectLink dual-advising initiative
  2. Connect with community college students and their advisors to ensure a successful transfer to K-State.

Biography:

Beth serves as coordinator of the DirectLink program. This program is designed to support community college students as they transition to K-State for a bachelor's degree. The program provides consistent interaction between the student, the community college advisor and the K-State advisor, which ensures a successful transition for the student. Although this program is housed in K-State Global Campus, it serves students in both campus and distance programs.

Before coming to K-State Global Campus, Beth served as an advisor in the School of Family Studies and Human Services in the College of Human Ecology for nine years. In that role she advised both on-campus and online students within the Family Studies and Human Services major as well as students in Early Childhood Education and Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Beth and her husband, Heath, have one daughter, Charli.
