Global Campus Award Nominations
K-State Global Campus recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of online students, faculty, advisors and staff each year at a Honors and Awards Reception in the spring. Individuals may make nominations for these awards by following the links provided below.
Awarded to an online instructor or faculty member who has provided outstanding online teaching, course development, mentoring of students and service to the field of continuing education.
Awarded to a K-State faculty or staff member who has demonstrated exceptional efforts in assisting and advising distance education students.
Awarded to a currently enrolled distance education student who has overcome an obstacle in the path of his or her education and who demonstrates academic excellence, focus and career ambition in his or her studies at K-State.
The purpose of the Friend of K-State Global Campus award is to recognize an individual who has significantly contributed to the advancement of K-State Global Campus programs or services. Some examples include: extending services to students studying at a distance, providing support for development of new programs, providing support that enhances the productivity of a unit or multiple units within K-State Global Campus, etc.
The purpose of the Lynda Spire Positive Focus award is to honor retired Assistant Dean Lynda Spire’s dedication to creating and promoting positivity in the workplace and to recognize a K-State Global Campus staff member for their continuation of this spirit in their daily work. This positivity should be evident in interactions within the unit and across Global Campus.
The K-State Global Campus depends heavily on student employees for success across all units. This award recognizes a student who consistently goes above and beyond the regular requirements of their position to make meaningful and positive contributions to K-State Global Campus.
